Brenda & Joe Van Mol
First Team Education, Inc. was created in 2003 by Joe and Brenda Van Mol. Their goal is to
establish and maintain strong and mutually beneficial relationships with all levels of Indiana's
public and private educators.
First Team Education,Inc. currently represents K-12 curriculum lines, professional books and a
trade book line.
Joe likes to call First Team Education "The Varsity of Independents in Indiana". Even though Brenda
chuckles at his mere mention of the thought, he quickly reminds her that there are
NO independent book sellers in Indiana with as much combined experience in consulting,
basal sales, and teaching depth as the two of them have together. He may have a point.

First Team Education is pleased to announce Peggy Eickhoff as a partner with the company. Peggy
comes to us with a rich background in education and publishing. She taught school in Marion,
Indiana before becoming a consultant with Houghton Mifflin and then Scott Foresman. Most recently
she was a sales representative for Cambium Learning - Voyager. Peggy will be able to answer any
questions you may have and will offer solutions to your needs. Feel free to contact her, Joe, or
